An Italian Fashionista’s Diary – 30 Days in Milan – Day 18 Fashion lecture, Aperitivo and The La Rinascente

Today we have an interesting lecture about things made in Italy.  It’s big business and it’s not just about clothes; it includes food and furniture too.  Clothing by itself is a 27 billion business.  Food is 5.7 billion.  Love it!

Later that evening we head to Corso Como for yet another Aperitivo.  We also visit 10 Corso Como which is a boutique that carries  very unique items for exorbitant prices.  If you have to ask how much, you can’t afford it.  After Aperitivo, we head down to La Rinascente, the most prestigious department store in Milan and has eight floors with everything from clothing and perfumes.  It also has a rooftop lounge facing the Duomo.  We meet up with our new lawyer friends, Giovanni, Federico and Francesco. It was fun and fabulous!
